Buffalo external hard drive problem?
I accidentally pulled the USB from the computer without removing the drive on Mac.
It now won't recognise it on any of my 2 computers.
Have I lost it forever?

I doubt it.
Try it on other pc’s.
Speak to a technician at you local PC store.
Try removing the case and plugging in internally and see what happens.

Did you try it on other USB ports? check the power source and make sure that the power of turned on.
When you plug the USB cable into the computer. does the drive spin at all?
The last option is to get it RMA. i doubt pulling it out without the doing the “Safely remove hardware” will cause your HD to fail. i do that to my Western digital + Flash drive a lot. a least once a day, and it haven’t give me any problem at all.
So again, check the power source and plug it into other USB to check.
