500gb External Hard Drive for my PS3?
so i just bought an western digital passport 500gb external hard drive so i could put all my video, music, photos, to use on my ps3, tried twice to format it to FAT32, but says is too big, is there any way to get my PS3 to read NTFS?
or any other suggestions (odds are i am SOL)....thanks in advance

No. The PS3 will not read NTFS.
Windows won’t allow you to format drives of more than 32GB to FAT, but you can do so from the DOS prompt. (Go to Start, then run and enter CMD)
use the command
format /FS:FAT32 X: Where X is the drive letter of the drive.
